Louis-Xavier Valton was born in 1971 in Nantes (France). He is known under his artist name Logan Kowalsky, inspired by the comic book character Wolverine. After starting as a graphic designer in multimedia, he began working as a cartoonist for the French gay magazine Project X but soon favored comic book illustration.

He published initially, under his real name Valton, two « all public » albums, « Bloodline 4 » in 2002 and « Tracker » in 2004. Then he decided to devote himself exclusively to adult production.

After being part of the launching of the Ultimen sery, Logan now publishes under the label H & O his regular serie « Porky » as well as comic books such as « the Pornomicon ».

Logan's characters, their features and their interactions are very characteristic, as he himself explains: "The readers of comics will see immediately the influence of American comic book superhero in my style. One could even mention without making a mistake a few names of designers: Mignola, Timm, Byrne, Buscema (grand master of the comic who unfortunately left us too soon.)."
